“I frequently work with high-achieving people who are struggling to find inner peace and sense of aliveness despite checking off many of their boxes for external success. Your mind may have reached a point where it can’t logically fix how you feel internally. Whether it is uncertainty, racing thoughts, intense emotions, difficult relationships or trauma symptoms, I would be honored to be a part of your healing journey. My main goal is to make you feel less alone in what you are going through and experience feeling fully seen and heard.”

Q & A

How do you describe your counseling style?

I am an active therapist and open up the space to be fully present to you and your emotional experience in the room. You are the expert of your life, and I enjoy being your collaborator in figuring out what is going on with your emotions, your body and your thoughts related to difficult things in the past and the present day. I often guide us back to what you’re noticing is happening for you during session as we broach difficult things together. Based on what you need, we may design practical experiments to expose you to things that feel daunting and overwhelming on your own and build up your inner resources to create stability within yourself.

Have you been in therapy yourself?

My own personal therapy journey has been a source of tremendous healing and growth in breaking down my own armor and learning how to process my emotions and listen to my body. I strongly believe that you can only meet others as far as you have gone within yourself. Growing up as a child of Indian immigrants in America, I worked through stigma around seeking out care and understand how this can be in the South Asian community. My own positive experiences with therapy led to my decision to hold this space for my clients.
