“Are there projects you’ve been putting off, telling yourself you’ll get to them but always pushing them aside? We all hold ideas about what we’re "supposed" to be doing or feeling, but these ideas don’t always match where we are. These moments are opportunities to find out what happens inside when we slow down. By tuning into your body and observing how it responds to the fast pace of life, we can start to connect a bit deeper to your internal world.

What comes to mind when you imagine a more connected version of yourself? Maybe you wish it were easier to accept love from others, to connect more deeply with your passions, or to build a more meaningful relationship with your body. I want to walk with you step by step towards these important goals. Searching for a therapist can be frustrating, exhausting, and confusing—you're not alone. The system can add stress, and I’m here to make the process as clear and supportive as possible.

Informed by my background as a creative, I blend my knowledge in AEDP, SE, and IFS with an understanding of the unique challenges artists face. As a creative therapist, I view our work together as a collaboration. My approach works well for those who want a more involved therapeutic relationship, and I’m dedicated to adapting my approach to fit your individual needs. Creating an environment where you feel comfortable and embodied is my responsibility, and I take it seriously. It’s crucial for you to feel supported in taking risks on your journey toward meaningful healing and transformation. Take the first step toward healing with a collaborative partner in a space that encourages you to make bold changes.”

Q & A

What kind of clients do you work best with?

I work with clients from all walks of life, but I’ve found I’m particularly effective with those who say things like, “I want to break this pattern,” “I’m stuck in my head and need help grounding in my body,” or “I’m looking for something deeper than traditional talk therapy.” Clients who resonate with my collaborative approach often have creative backgrounds, and I’ve also seen neurodivergent clients (ADHD, autism, etc.) thrive in the process of reconnecting with their bodies.

Are there any particular areas of focus that really excite you?

If your inner conflict is leaving you feeling conflicted, fractured, or scatterbrained, I get excited by the opportunity to understand the conflicting but distinct parts that make up who you are! I use a lens called Internal Family Systems (IFS) or parts work, where we take the time to engage with these parts and discover their true desires. Over time, we develop empathy for our many different parts and learn to foster relationships with them instead of trying to silence those we find uncomfortable. Although this process can be challenging, it can bring peace to what can sometimes feel like a chaotic inner world.

How do you describe your counseling style?

Working on our relationship to each other is the core of therapy. No matter what tools or techniques we use in therapy, lasting progress comes from creating and maintaining a solid foundation of trust and connection between us. Prioritizing our relationship, I’ll ensure we’re regularly checking in on how we’re both showing up for each other. I’m not a therapist who shows up as a blank slate–I will tell you about your impact on me and any emotions I am feeling towards you. Just as we do with our friends and loved ones, we’ll build a genuine connection here, practicing open, honest communication together in therapy.
